By the way, the aforementioned column about my favorite novels of 2000-2009 can be seen, for the moment, here. For easy reference, here is the list:
1. The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga
2. The Book of Chameleons by José Eduardo Agualusa
3. Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood
4. JPod by Douglas Coupland
5. Erasure by Percival Everett
6. The Lazarus Project by Aleksandar Hemon
7. Snow by Orhan Pamuk
8. Out Stealing Horses by Per Petterson
9. The Plot Against America by Philip Roth
10. In America by Susan Sontag
I'm slightly embarrassed that I've only read one of these (Philip Roth, of course). How many come in audiobook format?

For all I know, they may all be available as audiobooks, but I definitely can hook you up with #1, #4, and #6 next time you're around.

I downloaded #3 just now, but struggled to find the #7 and 8, which claim to exist as audiobooks. Look forward to getting the rest, though.

For those that don't come in audiobook format, I suggest that B save the day by making us his own recordings. Although I would settle for live readings.

Dr. Quinn! Man, CBS had some weird "family" shows. When life gets really bad I half-expect a glowing Roma Downey to remind me that God loves me. (I know, I've made this reference about five times.)
